Every myth has some truth behind it or else is wouldn't be a story at all. It seems like they are all based off of real events in some way and are a fake explanation of the true event. They are reasoning behind unanswered questions. People, all through time, have needed explanation to everything. Some base it off of facts while others turn to religion and choose to believe stories without facts. Its hard to accept the fact that "we don't know". This is where myths come into play.
